Maryland Institute College of Art is committed to the implementation of Title IX, Title VII, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination Act, and the Equal Pay Amendment.
The Human Resources Office is available to answer questions and offer counsel. HR makes policies and hears grievances. If a student believes that he/she has been discriminated against in grading, financial aid, counseling, or support services, and if he/she has exhausted all administrative avenues, the student should bring his/her grievance to the Human Resources office.
