Artists statement
Our line, Party At The Imperial Garden, explores and plays with gender roles, identity, and biases that exist in fashion today. We reference and remix gender roles in garments in culture and fashion history to create an attractive and seductive line to demonstrate the meaningless of gender specific dichotomies that exist in fashion today.
