On-Campus Housing
Freshmen and new Transfer students generally live in our on-campus, apartment-style, residential housing complexes. The Commons and Meyerhoff House are where we house most of our freshmen class. Both offer unique, artist-friendly living environments designed to support your artistic endeavors. Depending on availability, new transfer students may also be placed in the Gateway Building or our Mount Royal Apartments with other upper-class students. The staff and services of the Office of Residence Life & Off-Campus Housing are always available to assist you and we encourage you to explore our facilities and programs.

Your Housing Assignment
Freshman housing assignments will be sent via email to your MICA email account. A paper copy will be sent to your home address along with your updated invoice during the first week of August. Transfer students are housed on a slightly later timeline and will be sent via email in mid-August. Paper copies will be sent during the following week. Timelines are subject to change.
The Residence Life Office is located in Commons 2-108. The office is open weekdays from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Students can come to the office to ask questions, to talk about any problems or concerns, or to just say hi. You can always call us at 410.225.2398 or email us at residencelife@mica.edu.
