Every year, MICA puts together CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL in April to celebrate Caribbean culture. This year, Caribbean Carnival takes place Friday, April 23rd from 3-7 p.m. and is open to members of the Baltimore community. The parade starts at 3 p.m. at Station Building, followed by a festival in Cohen Plaza with a reggae band, a steel drum band, food, games, and much more! We will also have a table for a 'Dolls for the Children of Haiti' workshop for the Friends School. Dinner will be served on Cohen Plaza and Meyerhoff House will be closed for the evening. Meals can be purchased for $9 or students can use their meal plans. The event is sponsored by the Black Student Union, The Center for Race & Culture, The Office of Diversity & Intercultural Development, and the Student Activities Office.
