Work is exhibited in Julian Allen Illustration Gallery of Fox Building
Posted 10.09.09 by Illustration Department
The exhibited projects are from five different Illustration 1 classes, for which rising sophomore students have been asked to approach a subject matter they have difficulty with, using a medium they are unfamiliar with. Students have been exploring different media such as: painted paper collage, cut paper, linoleum cut, scratchboard, gouache, and have been working with other black & white and color media combined with digital.
A great number of artwork pieces are displayed in the Julian Allen Illustration Gallery: editorial illustration for magazines & newspapers, alien team, Baltimore editorial, fortune cookie, & sounds, projects based on Criterion Collection DVD covers, portraits, happy family cards, music album covers, and illustrated book illustration.
