BALTIMORE--MICA's Design Build Studio class in the environmental design program has collaborated in the design, fabrication and installation of a custom art display for the Veteran's Day Art Auction and a Taste of Federal Hill to benefit The Baltimore Station.  The event takes place Wednesday, Nov. 11, 6-9 p.m. at Church of the Redeemer (Charles street and Melrose avenue).

Design Build Studio's efforts are consistently focused on doing real work, creating opportunities and providing meaningful statements within Baltimore City through a collaborative process of design and installation.

The Baltimore Station is a nonprofit shelter providing self-help programs for men, most of whom are veterans, who are transitioning from the cycle of poverty, substance abuse and homelessness to self-sufficiency.
