Images from Library of Congress collections now available
Art Museum Image Gallery recently added more than 1,600 color photos from the Library of Congress’s Farm Security Administration-Office of War Information Collection, held in LC's Prints and Photographs Division.
Also available: Artist Biographies -- click the new Artist Biography icon in thousands of entries for access to in-depth profiles.
The images here are from color slides made by Marion Post Wolcott in 1940:

Dissertation abstracts & citations are searchable
The Art Full Text index recently added more than 13,500 citations and abstracts of dissertations to its database. Each entry links to a fuller preview of the work, as well as an option to purchase access to complete documents.
You can limit your search results on a particular topic to dissertations by doing a combination search with AND, using the pull-down menu to specify the search type. For example:
"peru" as All/Smart Search
