The Master of Arts in Critical Studies program at MICA gives students an in-depth grounding in critical theory, analysis, and writing through an intensive, one-year program set in the heart of contemporary cultural production. Jess Bither

A double major in art history and English from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jessica Bither '13 recently saw her photographs of an exhibition at the Arlington Arts Center featured on the news site Huffingtonpost.com.

 

Renwick Heronimo

Born in Aruba, Renwick Heronimo '13 studied architectural design and fine arts in the Netherlands and the U.S. He returned to the Caribbean in 1992, where he participated as both an artist and curator in numerous international exhibits and cultural projects for more than a decade, eventually directing an experimental art space. He is currently based out of Washington, DC.
