Portfolio Preparation Courses
Students in grades 9-12 can bolster their portfolios while learning about new areas of art and design, or gain more experience in one they love. Students 16 and above can apply to earn college credit.

Summer Pre-College
Immerse yourself in your passion for creativity this summer. Join the community of young artists and designers learning from MICA faculty members and visiting working creative professionals. You'll learn what it takes to create a great portfolio for your college application and what to do to prepare for college- all while expanding your artistic and intellectual horizons and push yourself to a new level of potential.
It's one of the most unique and challenging programs of its kind in the country.
You can earn up to 3 college credits, and travel to the world's centers of art and design: New York, Washington, DC, and/or Tuscany, Italy, the birthplace of the renaissance.
