Alumni Create Small Businesses
Many members of the Graphic Design community at MICA showcase their talents and entrepreneurial spirit through the creation of small businesses. Some of these alums include:
Kat Feuerstein '99 and Allison Fisher '11 run Gilah Press + Design, a boutique letterpress and design studio in Baltimore.
Beth Taylor '11 is founder of Longstocking Design in Portland, Maine, which works on print and web, textile and motion projects
Laurence Chandler '68 offers originals and limited editions of his work at Laurence Chandler Fine Art, just minutes from Washington, DC.
