Created in 2004, CAC is the only program of its kind in Maryland that links artists, communities, and institutions of K-12 and higher education. The work of CAC member artists provides children, youth, and adults with the benefits of after-school, arts-based learning experiences, and strengthens neighborhoods through community art initiatives. We do this work by partnering with impactful nonprofit organizations, schools, museums, and community centers across Baltimore City, who host CAC member artists for year-long residencies.
