Niki Francesca Bramante ’14 (MAT, Art Education) is a jewelry artist and visual art teacher in California. She's always considered herself a mixed media artist. In her wearable work, Niki aims to strike a balance between playfulness and elegance with the juxtaposition of materials…the ‘seriousness’ of metals against the ‘lightness’ of brightly colored resin. Caitlin Albritton '18 (MFA, Low-Residency Studio Art) is a painter, lapidary, silversmith, arts writer, and educator based in Tampa, FL. In her wearable paintings, she uses a process called inlay to essentially collage with colorful, hand-cut, semi-precious stones set in sterling silver. Since these pieces are mostly figurative or semi-abstracted figures, she calls them her "Rock Solid Bodies Collection."
