Yes! There was special programming including an exhibition at the Lazarus Center for our graduate alumni. All alumni, graduate and undergraduate, were invited to participate in all events around campus.

Were there any headline, performing artists?

We were delighted to host a performance by alum TT the Artist (Fine Arts ‘06) on Saturday evening!

TT the Artist is an American rapper, producer, and filmmaker. In 2020 she debuted her documentary film Dark City: Beneath the Beat at SXSW, and was soon picked up by Netflix for an April 2021 release.  Dark City, the filming of which began nearly a decade before its release, is a music-focused documentary dedicated to Baltimore and its club scene.  It highlights the works of artists such as Mighty Mark, Jonny Blaze, Blaqstarr, and TT the Artist herself, memorializes fallen club scene anchors Tamika “Fatgirl” Raye and K-Swift, and lifts up club dancing especially through the works of Bmore Than Dance and the Team Squad Up Dance Crew.
