First-Year Student Orientation

For On-Campus First-Year Students:

If you plan to drive to campus for Move-In & Orientation, be sure to follow the map below. These will direct you to the "car checkpoint" located at the intersection of Park Avenue and Lanvale Street. At this checkpoint, you will be provided information on where you will be unloading your car (you'll only be allowed to park and unload for 20 minutes) and where you'll be parking for the remainder of move-in day. Below is a map to reference where the move-in checkpoint is located.

For Commuter/Off-Campus First-Year Students

If you plan to drive to campus for Orientation, you may check in at Founders Green (in Latrobe House) on Wednesday, August 23, from 4:30-5 pm. You may park along Mt. Royal Avenue.

Upperclass Transfer Orientation:

If you plan to drive to campus for Orientation on Saturday, we recommend parking along Mt. Royal Avenue or in the neighborhood. There should be plenty of street parking. Be sure to check signage for restrictions on parking. 

Graduate Orientation:

If you plan to drive to campus for Orientation, we recommend parking in either MICA's Mount Royal Station parking lot or the Bolton Hill or Station North communities. Be sure to check signage for restrictions on parking.
