Untitled, by Sasha Phyars-Burgess — artist-in-residence in MICA’s Photography + Media & Society MFA program — was recently selected as recipient of the 2021 First PhotoBook Award in the Paris Photo and Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards. The $10,000 prize was awarded to the artist whose first finished, publicly available photobook was judged to be the best of the year.
