This spring, MICA has been named as one of the world’s top visual arts universities according to the latest edition of the world’s most-consulted university ranking.
MICA’s graduate program moved into the top 50 in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 for Art & Design institutions, coming in at 33rd globally, and at national level, ranking 14th.
“We're excited to see this recognition of the global impact and appeal of MICA's graduate community,” Chris Harring, associate vice president of graduate admission, said. “MICA's graduate programs receive applications from over 40 countries, and international students collectively form more than a third of the graduate community. Rankings from organizations like QS, which have such an international focus, are not only a reflection of MICA's global standing — but will also help us continue this trajectory of international growth.”
The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact, according to its website. Learn more about the rankings here.
