For the second year in a row, the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) rose in rankings from the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 for Art & Design institutions, going from 44th to 38th internationally, and from 15th to 12th domestically.
“We are once again thrilled to see MICA Graduate Studies recognized for its global impact and appeal,” Chris Harring, associate vice president of graduate admission, said. “To be named one of the world's top universities in Art & Design by the 2022 QS World University Rankings, and to rise in rank for the second year in a row, truly reinforces that MICA continues to be valued as a leading and influential institution in its field, which sees applicants from over 40 countries. Acknowledgements like this will continue MICA's ability for international growth.”
