The page navigation in the sidebar is made up of the "visible" subpages within the page's folder. Please view the video above as a reference. 

Adding external links to the sidebar navigation 

1.  Fill out the navigation title and page title
2.  Make sure the "visible in navigation" button is checked 
3.  In the "external link" area, add the url that you'd like to display.
