I Used to Think I Had Been Relieved Of Desire: Images of a Queer South features photographs by Sara Hinterlong. The exhibition is on view in MICA's Main 0 gallery from March 17 to April 12, 2025. Join us for a reception on April 11th from 4-6pm.

This exhibition is made possible by the MICA Photo Department and the Jan Meyer Travel Fellowship. The fellowship is ensured by an endowed gift from Janis Meyer, an alumna of the MICA Photo Department, and is awarded annually for a graduating BFA Photography major to travel to make a new body of photographic work. We honor Jan’s memory and thank the Meyer family for their support in empowering our students.
