The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) presents UPTURN, the 30th Annual Benefit Fashion Show, A journey through what it looks and feels like to rethink and rework how we approach the world around us. As times are changing, we are having to grow and change with it - adapt and ask questions. This show calls upon the artist, and therefore the audience, to question their relationship with society–and ultimately, with themselves. It features student's designs and art and will take place Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 at 7 pm. This event, sponsored and created by the Office of Culture and Identity (OCI), raises funds to support scholarly initiatives for students who pursue diversity-related art projects that foster inclusivity.
