Golden Control Room is a two-person exhibition featuring artists Tyler Brunner and Wyatt Acardi. The exhibition explores the points of contact between humans and non-human actors as well as how they inform the practice of the world building; its capacity for unfettered creation, and the resulting aesthetics of an unbound open source landscape. Golden Control Room poses questions about the rapidly evolving nature of our social and cultural economies as production, communication and play become increasingly a-physical. Drawing influence from the mechanics of fantasy video games, Golden Control Room speaks to the notion of inconsequential creation via the artists' respective approaches to virtual interfaces as spaces of artifact and myth. The exhibition additionally catalogues the development of a mutually invested visual language as the artist work is corresponding materials and themes. Golden Control Room is informed by the artists two long-term projects, Brunner's "Fuck the Dark, I'm Lightning" and Accardi's "Find my Friends" presented in the form of sculpture, drawing and performance. Reception October 4th 5pm-7pm
