Statement

My thematic focus is to create work that transforms toxicity into healing. This is done by transforming waste into a new medium through revitalizing/recycling the original material with the machines I've fabricated or by neutralizing the toxicity through other means like encapsulation or preservation. With this methodology everything becomes art, even my scraps become paintings/drawings/sculptures. Waste need not be something we throw away, it is instead another step in the process of making.

My predominate methods of making include but are not limited to metalworking, woodworking, painting, drawing, as well as some fiber/textile work.
