Much of my work involves characters and story as I enjoy incorporating fantasy and adventure into my digital paintings. Although my style has taken on multiple forms, I’m obsessed with the exploration of various concepts and techniques. Some commonalities in my work are a sense of movement and a sense of empathy. The idea of creating relatable characters through small details in the clothing or face expression makes the imaginative process worthwhile.
I wanted to become an animator and then realized I wanted to tell stories in fewer frames as an illustrator. Therefore, during the year, I’ve focused on anatomy studies and concept design, which has helped me improve foundation skills such as color, shape, and line. In the future, I would like to delve in the direction of visual development for animation and video games. Although there are various jobs that fall under this category, I would like to explore as much as I can before finding out which specific area I enjoy the most.
