I was born in and is currently a resident of Baltimore, Maryland. I've been making art since childhood and encouraged to become a professional artist. I received an AFA in illustration from Delaware College of Art & Design in 2018. I use several mediums to make art such as pencil, watercolor, oil/acrylic paint, and Photoshop. Subject matters I focus on are portraits, character designs, concept art, sequential art, editorial, and food illustration.
My senior thesis project for this year was to create a cookbook. It is about my favorite comfort foods. I chose ten of them that stand out to me the most. There's a combination of meals I made myself along with ones made by other people. They're also ones that are affordable, easy to make, and ones everyone can have access to. This was a year-long project that combined two of my favorite things: watercolor and food. Even though I chose some meals made in the U.S., I also wanted to pick ones around the world. I’m often around people who come from different cultures. As a result, I got to learn about them and the food they make. This is what motivated me to work on this project.
