Statement

Unification, dispersion, collision, destruction, reunification are at the core of my practice. They represent my ideas and fantasy. I get inspiration from my unconscious and personal experiences from multicultural history, and connect those ideas with universe and abstract shapes.

The layers of acetate, shaped into broken fragments become a mysterious trace of life. The light, projected onto the wall, reflections are playing back. It refers to the repetition of infinite space and time derived from the various interactions. The assembly, a mixture of disorder and infinity, shows that the system of one world is replaced or integrated with another system to create a new structure. It also illuminates the remnants that are born and disappeared throughout the process.

The continuous repetition of creation, destruction, and reunification can symbolize conflict and change, or the persistence of life. The images are on the boundaries of realism, abstraction and non-life forms, meant to be objects that evolve in the natural circulation.
