Statement
Yichen Wei creates illustrations for editorials, book covers, picture books, and more. Her work is whimsical, nostalgic, playful, and contains subtle humor. With a spontaneous style of working, she likes to use both traditional and digital media to create different visual messages, full of shapes and textures. Human-forms were also used in her art as props to explore emotion and inner dialogues.
