The amount of any Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan listed on your Award Letter is the maximum amount you are eligible to borrow. You may borrow any amount up to this maximum.
If you borrowed a Federal Direct Loan at MICA during the previous academic year, you do not need to complete another federal Federal Direct loan application. Your signed Award Letter accepting your Federal Direct Loan(s) gives the Financial Staff permission to process your loan(s).
You have the right to cancel or reduce the amount of your awarded loan by contacting the Financial Aid Office.
