The process takes approximately 25 minutes and is a requirement of your student loan agreement. The link below will take you directly to the federal government's website www.studentaid.gov and you can complete the process online.
You can access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) to view the details of all of your federal student loans. The NSLDS website www.nslds.ed.gov provides you with the type and amount of each federal loan borrowed, the loan status, and the name, address, and telephone number of the loan servicer - details that may come in handy now that you are ready to begin repayment.
