Crystal Shamblee is a Senior Associate at FedTech, a DeepTech innovation consultancy focused on Climate and Energy projects. She currently manages MSI Connect, a program spearheaded by Brookhaven National Laboratory in partnership with FedTech and DOE Boost, a collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories. Shamblee is a human-centered innovator who leads startup studio programs, directly impacting the success of commercialized research, technologies, and innovation within government labs and other organizations.

Prior to joining FedTech, Shamblee worked in higher education for 15 years, most recently as Associate Dean in the Open Studies academic unit. She has experience launching the MPS User Experience Design program at the Maryland Institute College of Art and leading the Design Leadership MA/MBA dual degree program, which focuses on design thinking and human-centered design.

Shamblee is passionate about collaborating with organizations to achieve internal success while connecting with amazing people. Outside of work, she is a full-time mom who enjoys spending time with her family. Go Wolfpack!
