Strategic Communications has worked with People, Belonging, and Culture (PB&C) and individual area leaders to develop the Departmental Functions Map (DFM) — a new online resource to help community members better understand the functions and staffing of individual areas within the College. The DFM is not intended to be a comprehensive staff directory but rather an interim resource with simplified functionality to help guide community members toward the proper areas for specific requests while a more fulsome directory resource is developed by PB&C
The DFM Provides:
- The area’s primary responsibilities, common functions, and services
- General Contact information for the area
- An abbreviated listing of positions from VP to director-level within the area along with position description and employee currently fulfilling the role.
Strategic Communications will work with PB&C and individual departments on a quarterly basis to keep the DFM up to date. In the meantime, if you have immediate questions or adjustments to the DFM, please email communications@mica.edu with the subject line "DFM".
