He was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. and has numerous connections to MICA. Bunting has been working with entrepreneurs, small business startups and nonprofits in varied capacities for close to 20 years.
Bunting is president and co-founder of the Alpine Food Service Solutions (Alpine) (www.alpinebagels.com). Alpine was incorporated in 1996 and within two years the company established itself as a unique food service provider for host locations on college campuses and hospitals within the United States. Alpine provides and operates healthy food service concepts that have won numerous quality product and service awards since its inception. Under his direction, Alpine has become a nationally recognized campus food service provider that consistently wins consumer survey awards and accolades for its unique customer service approach that is defined by "The Alpine Attitude"; a proprietary program developed and executed by Bunting.
He is also a director and co-founder of the fashion apparel company, Kiss My Feet (KMF) (www.kissmyfeet.com). KMF was founded in 1998 and rapidly became a coveted fashion footwear line in the high-end women's boutique market. KMF has collaborated and partnered with numerous businesses, non-profits and celebrities to continually provide designs and apparel that continue to create a fashion "buzz" within a constantly fluctuating industry. KMF is currently launching new lines that will incorporate numerous partnerships with specific celebrities and musicians. The launch is allowing the company to further expand through some of its existing licensing programs and corporate sponsors.
In 2004, Bunting co-founded and is a partner of the Affinity Stone Company (Affinity) (www.affintystone.com). Affinity is a full range natural stone fabrication company that produces products for residential and commercial clients, including home builders, kitchen and bath dealers, architects, engineers, and interior designers. Affinity further provides shipping, project management, on-site installation, customer assistance and a range of other services. Bunting has been instrumental in Affinity's rapid growth (more than 30% annually), helping to establish the company's solid management team and creating numerous long-term relationships that will benefit both Affinity and its relationships and contracts with numerous Fortune 500 companies.
In 2006, he co-founded Music City Tents and Events and Peach Tree Tents and Events (www.musiccitytents.com). The Company specializes in party rental equipment with offices in Nashville, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia. Bunting is a director and is responsible for Business Development.
Bunting has been married to his wife Nancy for 10 years and is a proud father to three young boys, ages eight, five and one. Between spending time with his wife and family, you will find him enjoying outdoor recreational sports, reading, writing or motorcycling.
