MEET OUR DIRECTING TEAM BELOW!

Director

Mo Green

My name is Mo Green (they/them). I am a senior Graphic Design major and Experimental Fashion minor from New Orleans, Louisiana.

During my time at MICA I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at MICA PreCollege, creating lesson plans and workshops for the next generation of MICA students, and as a Wellness Coordinator in the Fitness Center, encouraging students to prioritize their health while attending school. I also completed a semester abroad in Osaka, Japan, studying Japanese language and weaving. As a designer in Flourish the 2023 Benefit Fashion Show, I am very excited to help lead this year’s Benefit Fashion Show and foster a supportive, creative environment.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking and roller skating with my friends.

Assistant Director

Nyx Davis

Nyx Davis is a first year Curatorial Practice MFA student. She is the current Assistant Director for this year’s 31st Annual Benefit Fashion Show. Nyx obtained her undergraduate degree in Textile & Apparel Studies with a concentration in fashion design. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, creating playlists, or working out. Her interests of study in inclusivity and the need to highlight the importance of human relations with one another (both platonic and romantic), nature, and spirituality, has been a driving force for her focus in plus size fashion design and now curatorial practice but more directly experiential design. Coming from a background of visual arts and visual merchandising, Nyx has combined these practices to enhance the human experience within not only art but music, fashion, and nature. Through further study, Nyx aims to design immersive experiences to introduce new perspectives to viewers who would not have witnessed elsewhere.

Assistant Director

Anahita Arun

Anahita Arun (’26) is a Third-Year Graphic Design, Humanistic Studies, and Interactive Arts Major, minoring in Art History, Global and Intercultural Exchange, Culture and Politics, Book Arts, and Curatorial Studies here at MICA.

She has previously worked as a Residential Advisor, Admissions Tour Guide, and Orientation Leader; and she is currently President of the Brown Asian Student Union. These roles have given her experience in event management and team leadership at various scales. Having worked with many offices and students here, Anahita is particular about creating a judgment-free space where everyone’s voices are heard and their inputs are acknowledged. Being at MICA has opened her eyes to new forms of creative expression across fields, and made her more aware of what it means to be an artist in an increasingly intercultural world. Fashion is one of the most overt forms of expression and identity, and she looks forward to hearing everyone’s stories through this medium.
