Statement
Since the early 2000’s nonprofit organizations have been in the spotlight for being dishonest about their mission and donations contributing to the organization have an unclear way of seeing where the funding is going. As communities continue to contribute to the greater good, there has been a lack of transparency in the nonprofit organization industry due to a lack of oversight and demand by federal regulations.
The mission is to create a decentralized budgeting system for nonprofit organizations so that founders can be fully transparent with their investors on where their money is going.
According to NBC News, after the 2001 9/11 terrorist attack, Americans across the nation pulled in $1.5 billion into hundreds of charities to support victims, their families, and their memories. But a decade later, an Associated Press investigation illustrated that many of those nonprofits have failed inadequately.
In previous efforts to create a decentralized budgeting system, nonprofits should take accountability for their crimes and be fully transparent to the public about how the money flow operates in order to ensure that the funds will go to the right hands. As a result, stakeholders should invest in decentralized budgeting services for nonprofit organizations. This allows teams to structure their organization that aligns with then end-user needs and is transparent to its investors on the process of how the donations are being utilized through a blockchain system.
