I took this on with the goal of understanding how young adults, particularly generation X, feel about the issue, how they learn about the environment and its changes, and if there are any pain points in actively implementing sustainable habits. So I created Seedling, an application-based product that promotes healthy living and builds a quickly growing community of users who believe in climate change and want a guaranteed future. Seedling can help accomplish users’ goals and address their frustrations by giving them the ability to find out what their carbon footprint is, see their monthly CO2 impact, and help them get in the habit of sustainable behavior by making tasks like recycling a little more fun.
