Erin Johnson
Erin Johnson’s research-driven films and video installations blend documentary, experimental, and narrative devices and foreground the ways in which individual lives and sociopolitical realities merge.
The growing world of video art, independent films, Internet shorts, and cable TV, along with an ever-expanding variety of presentation platforms has opened up a vast field for emerging artists. Personal expression, critical inquiry, and craftsmanship join to create a uniquely exciting art, whether it's on a smart device, in gallery-based installations, narrative experiments at film festivals, or community-based projects.
MICA’s Film and Video undergraduate program is housed in the College’s state-of-the-art production facilities at the new Film Centre.
