Students in fine arts at MICA refine their technical skills through an intense studio experience, and gain deep knowledge of their medium’s history as well as contemporary issues and ideas. Faculty and visiting artists and critics in our fine arts programs have a diverse array of aesthetic sensibilities, maintain active studio practices, and exhibit their work in various venues—and act as role models and mentors as you find your own voice as an artist.
