Center for Student Engagement

The Center for Student Engagement is home to more than 30 student organizations, the Student Voice Association (MICA’s student government), Orientation, and a variety of programs and activities to keep students involved on campus.

 

Available Positions:

 

Orientation Leader (OL)

Orientation Leaders(OLs) are ambassadors for MICA, and facilitate Orientation for first-year and transfer students. This position is for Fall 2025 Orientation. OLs play an active role in every program at Orientation, take the initiative to create a supportive environment for new students throughout the year.

The SOD the Center for Student Engagement and the Orientation Committee in planning and executing Orientation Leader Training and Fall Orientation 2025.

Student Space Gallery Manager (Graduate & Undergraduate)

The Student Space Gallery Manager (SSGM) directly supports the Student Space Gallery program, which aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to exhibit their artwork on campus. The SSGM will manage the operations of the gallery spaces, communicating with and supporting artists exhibiting in the galleries, as well as providing outward-facing general information/marketing regarding current and upcoming exhibitions.

Program Manager (PM)

Program Managers (PM) serve in a leadership position within the MICA Program Board (MPB), and support the planning and implementation of major campus programs on behalf of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). This position will begin in mid-August and end the day after Commencement.

Student Voice Association (SVA) Officer

SVA Officers will Communicate with students on a regular basis about any urgent MICA updates affecting Graduate Students. Maintain open communications with all Students that represent the student body on any committees and councils.

Program Director (PD)

Program Directors (PD) serve in the primary leadership position within the MICA Program Board (MPB). PDs support the planning and implementation of major campus programs on behalf of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) by providing mentorship and oversight to MPB. This position will begin in mid-August and end the day after Commencement.
