Our on-campus programming is an integral part of our PATHs model and creates multiple opportunities for engagement and connection between MICA students. SCC hosts both its own programming and is excited to partner with other members of both the MICA Wellness team as well as MICA Student Affairs.
At MICA SCC we share your values:
- SCC hosts in-person and virtual events, awareness campaigns, and programming throughout the year to promote mental health awareness and share our support. Themes will coincide with awareness days and months, such as Suicide Awareness Month in September or Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, among others.
At MICA SCC we care for you
- Let us help you relax and recharge.
- Throughout the year we will host opportunities for self-care and well-being.
At MICA SCC we help you thrive:
- Check our events calendar for ongoing workshops and exclusive events to help you reach your goals. Some themes for this year include body doubling and study skills.
At MICA SCC we promote connections:
- Social connections are a vital part of well-being. At SCC, we take the pressure off and make it fun! Check the events calendar for upcoming ways to meet up with other students and take a break from the stress of classes. Some exciting events this year include Game Night at the Library and Rise and Dine breakfast meet-ups facilitated by our counselors.
