Timmy studied Physics at Trinity College, Oxford University, attended the Ruskin School of Drawing, Oxford and Camden Arts Centre, London. He studies Architecture at The Architectural Association, London, and the Cooper Union, New York City, where he received his professional degree as well as studying Environmental Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
Before coming to Baltimore to teach at MICA, Timmy was a principal of the firm DOMA Architecture firm in NYC. He continues to practice collaboratively in Architecture projects locally and internationally and is currently featured in an exhibition at the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt, Germany.
Timmy has taught, studied and is practicing the sustainable building standard of Passive House design. He is passionate about its application to vacant Baltimore row-houses in order to meet the need for Affordable Housing and aims to develop prototypes in collaboration with Baltimore organizations and partners.
