Tony Shore, Chair of the Painting Department at the Maryland Institute College of Art, studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, received his BFA from MICA, and his MFA from Yale University School of Art. His awards include The Janet and Walter Sondheim Prize, The Bethesda Painting Prize, several Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Awards, and most recently, he was the recipient of a Baltimore Rubys Artist Project Grant.
